DOMESTIC INCIDENT – BRUCE JOSEPH FAIR, JR., AMAYA BOUGERE
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr, 26, of 3386 Back Marais Road, Napoleonville, LA and Amaya Bougere, 19, of 157 Napoleon Ave., Apartment A, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic incident on Sunday afternoon.
Deputies were dispatched to the Napoleonville Avenue address and upon arrival made contact with Amaya Bougere. She indicated that she and Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr. had a child together and were not in a relationship at this time. Amaya Bougere indicated that Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr. had gone to her residence to tend to affairs related to their child, who is two years old. At some point, Fair and Bougere became engaged in an argument which turned physical. At the time, Amaya Bougere states that she and the child ended up on the ground and both hit their heads.
Medical personnel were called to the scene and determined that the child needed medical attention and was treated at a local hospital and later transferred to an acute care facility.
Bruce Joseph Fair, Jr. came into the detention facility for questioning and was subsequently arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
Fair remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
Amaya Bougere was arrested later Sunday and she was booked on charges of:
* Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
Bougere remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
