BAYOU L’OURSE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Andrew Luke, 19, of 1098 Highway 662, Bayou L’Ourse, LA and Timothy Wayne Collier, 24, of 117 Honey Lane, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony theft charges arising from an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of February 12, 2024, in the area of Aristle Road.

On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, deputies responded to a complaint at a Bayou L’Ourse retail outlet. While investigating that complaint, an independent witness identified two individuals who were present at the retail outlet as being the same two individuals captured on video surveillance stealing an ATV on February 12, 2024.

Deputies initiated an investigation and identified Andrew Luke and Timothy Wayne Collier as the two individuals who appeared on the video surveillance stealing the ATV in question.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Andrew Luke and Timothy Wayne Collier were arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center.

Timothy Wayne Collier was charged with:

*Theft (Felony) Valued at $1000-$5000

*Probation / Parole Violation

Andrew Luke was charged with:

*Theft (Felony) Valued at $1000-$5000

Andrew Luke and Timothy Wayne Collier remain incarcerated pending bond proceedings.
