GUN – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
BRUCE FAIR, JR.
PAINCOURTVILLE –Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bruce Fair, Jr., 23, of 117 Thomas Street, Paincourtville, La., on felony drug and gun law violations following an investigative stop of a vehicle on Friday.
Detectives initiated the stop in the 5700 block of LA 1 in Paincourtville, La. and came into contact with the driver now identified as Bruce Fair, Jr.
As part of an ongoing investigation, detectives secured a search warrant for Fair’s vehicle. During the search process, a firearm and a quantity of the drug, Hydrocodone was recovered. Bruce Fair, Jr., is a convicted felon. In 2017, Fair was convicted of Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana in Lafourche Parish.
Based on these findings, Bruce Fair, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Possession of Hydrocodone
*Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
Bruce Fair, Jr. was incarcerated with a bond set a $75,000.
