HOME INVASION, SECOND DEGREE BATTERY

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kevin Truehill, 36, of 706B Jefferson Street, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges related to an incident of violence near Labadieville on June 29, 2019.
On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to an apartment complex relative to a disturbance.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the victim and her domestic partner. Deputies were advised that while trying to sort out a family situation, Kevin Truehill became irate and struck the victim in the face repeatedly with an item turned weapon. The attack caused significant injury to the victim. The male partner of the victim and Kevin Truehill then engaged in a physical struggle outside. While that scuffle continued, two other individuals identified as Ashley Truehill, 30, and Lakisha Truehill, age 37, both of South Holly Road, Labadieville, entered the victim’s residence and began to beat her. Both Ashley Truehill and Lakisha Truehill were booked on felony charges on July 8, 2019.
At the time of the incident, Kevin Truehill evaded arrest. Truehill was recently arrested by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office in Gainesville, Georgia. Kevin Truehill was returned to Assumption Parish on Monday where he was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Home Invasion
*Second Degree Battery
*Failure to Appear in Assumption Parish for:
-Obstruction of Justice
-Possession of Schedule II Narcotics
Devin Truehill remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
The victim in this case received moderate injuries and was transported y Acadian Ambulance to Thibodaux Regional.
The three Truehills and the victim’s male partner are siblings.
