NARCOTICS ARREST
DANIEL J. PLAISANCE, SR.
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Daniel J. Plaisance, Sr., 58, of 119A Claiborne Street, Pierre Part, LA, in accordance with an ongoing narcotics investigation.
For the past several months, narcotics agents have been investigating complaints of illegal drug activity at a Bayou Drive residence. This location was the scene of a meth-amphetamine distribution case in November of 2019.
On Thursday, agents approached Daniel J. Plaisance, Sr. at the Bayou Drive residence.
As agents approached Plaisance, he threw an unknown item in a way as to conceal it.
When detectives approached Plaisance, they conducted a protective pat down search. Plaisance was found to be in possession of a quantity of meth-amphetamine and assorted paraphernalia.
Daniel J. Plaisance, Sr., was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Plaisance remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
