OBSCENTIY – FELONY SEX CRIME – JOHN D. FALTERMAN

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of John D. Falterman, 53, of 823 St. Vincent Road, Napoleonville, LA on felony obscenity charges arising from a complaint filed on Tuesday evening.

Deputies responded to a call in reference to an individual exposing himself in a sexual manner. Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised she was jogging in the area of 823 St. Vincent Road when she noticed an individual who appeared to be exposing himself. The complainant jogged back by the address on her way home and noticed the same individual who now had moved closer to the roadway and was indeed exposing himself in a sexual manner.

Investigating deputies were able to identify the suspect as John D. Falterman.

Deputies obtained an arrest warrant for John D. Falterman.

Deputies arrested John D. Falterman at his home and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Obscenity

John D. Falterman remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
