OPERATION “TAKE A RIDE” – DISTRIBUTION OF METH- AMPHETAMINE – DONTAE BREAUX

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dontae Breaux, 18, of 159 Georgetown Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on felony drug charges arising out of Operation “Take A Ride”.

Assumption Parish Sheriff’s deputies conducted a parish wide investigation targeting illegal drug dealers.

As a result of that investigation, deputies established probable cause to believe that Dontae Breaux was in fact distributing illegal drugs in the Assumption Parish area.

Investigators secured arrest warrants charging Dontae Breaux. The suspect had evaded authorities for several months.

On Monday, Dontae Breaux was arrested during a traffic accident investigation in Ascension Parish.

Dontae Breaux was transferred to Assumption Parish on Tuesday and booked into the detention center on charges of:

*Distribution of Meth-Amphetamine

Dontae Breaux remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
