PIERRE PART AMERICAN LEGION AWARDS 2019 DEPUTY OF THE
YEAR TO WATER PATROL DEPUTIES
PIERRE PART – On Wednesday night, the Pierre Part American Legion, Landry – Domingue Post 328, awarded the “2019 Deputy of the Year” to four Water Patrol Division Deputies, as selected by Sheriff Leland Falcon. The four deputies, Adam Domingue, Scott Metrejean, Keith Aucoin and Scott Domingue, “Provide exemplary and expeditious services in the worst of all conditions during marine emergencies”, Sheriff Falcon said. The Marine Division is deployed on a regular basis and serves our citizens in many different ways.
Barbara Aucoin was honored as “Firefighter of the Year”.
The American Legion also honored “Girls All State” duo of Chloe Rivere and Madelyn Savoy and “Boys All State” selection was Ben Blanchard.
Sheriff Falcon thanks the American Legion for their devoted efforts in recognizing these outstanding members of our community.
