POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE, FALSE COMMUNICATION
WITH INTENT TO CAUSE AN EMERGENCY RESPONSE

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jeremy Anthony Dixon, 43, of 1037 Ridgefield Road, Thibodaux, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident late Wednesday near Georgette Street south of Napoleonville. Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to individuals trying to harm the complainant. Deputies made contact with the caller, now identified as Jeremy Anthony Dixon. Deputies interviewed Dixon and did determine that the complaint was not valid and there was no one trying to harm Dixon.
Deputies arrested Jeremy Anthony Dixon and at the time seized a quantity of methamphetamine within his constructive possession.
At the conclusion of this investigation, Jeremy Anthony Dixon was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*False Communication with an Attempt to Cause an Emergency Response
Jeremy Anthony Dixon remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
