PROBATION VIOLATOR – CODY JAMES LEGNON
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Cody James Legnon, 41, of 112 Legnon Court, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on a felony warrant accusing him of violating his probation.
On November 4, 2019, Cody James Legnon was convicted in Assumption Parish on charges of Simple Criminal Damage to Property and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. As a result of the conviction, Cody James Legnon was placed on supervised probation and ordered to serve special conditions.
Shortly after that conviction, Legnon absconded from his probation requirements resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest.
On January 22, 2020, a warrant was approved for Legnon’s arrest.
On July 9, 2020, Morgan City Police arrested Legnon on that warrant.
Cody James Legnon was transported to Assumption Parish on July 10, 2020 and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:

Legnon is being held without bond.
