PUBLIC INTIMIDATION – RESISTING AN OFFICER – DUCAN J. WIGGINS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ducan J. Wiggins, 35, of 123 Louis Lane, Napoleonville, LA, arising out of a criminal damage complaint at a location near LA 1 and Georgette Street south of Napoleonville.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who indicated that the suspect, now identified as Ducan J. Wiggins had broken the windshield on his truck earlier Friday morning. The victim was awakened by noises and walked outside to find Ducan Wiggins on his driveway.
Deputies were able to locate Ducan J. Wiggins nearby and after interviewing him, placed him under arrest. The suspect resisted efforts to be taken into custody and had to be physically restrained.
During the booking process, Ducan J. Wiggins became unruly again and had to be physically restrained. He was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Public Intimidation (Threats) – Felony – 2 Counts
*Resisting An Officer – 2 Counts
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
*Criminal Trespass
Ducan J. Wiggins remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
