PURSUIT – CONVICTED FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM

PIERRE PART –Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bobby Joe Blake, 31, of 118 Elm Hall Avenue, Napoleonville, LA, on felony firearms charges resulting from his involvement in a high-speed chase on October 12, 2020, originating in Pierre Part, La.
On the aforementioned date, deputies attempted to stop a U-Haul truck for traffic violations near LA 70 and Bayou Drive. The vehicle attempted to elude deputies which resulted in a lengthy pursuit which ended west of Belle Rose. At that time, two females identified as Kaitlin Alida Chedotal, 25, of 114 North Curtis Street, Pierre Part and Marcie Ann Templet, 22, of 2191 Highway 1, South, Donaldsonville, La., were arrested on felony charges and incarcerated.
Two male suspects fled the scene. Later that night, the suspect vehicle driver was apprehended. He is identified as Jarvis D. Alleman, 25, of 127 Verret Street, Lot C, Pierre Part, La. He remains incarcerated on multiple felony counts as well as a probation violation.
Bobby Joe Blake remained a fugitive until his arrest on Friday night near Belle River, La. Blake was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Resisting an Officer
*Failure to Appear – Iberville Parish on Charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute
Controlled Dangerous Substances-Schedule II
-Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substances
-Possession of Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substances
Bobby Joe Blake remains incarcerated with a bond set at $35,000.
