RETIREMENT OF DEPUTY JAMES “JIMMY” TABOR AFTER 40+
YEARS OF SERVICE
LABADIEVILLE – After 40+ years of service to the people as a Sheriff’s Deputy, Mr. Jimmy Tabor is retiring.
“Deputy Tabor has been a valued member of the Sheriff’s Office and has provided dedicated service as a uniformed patrol officer over that span,” Sheriff Leland Falcon said.
Deputy Tabor has been a fixture as a traffic officer at St. Philomena Catholic Church masses and fairs for decades.
“No matter the situation, Deputy Tabor always had a smile on his face, was passionate about his job and was always willing to lend a helping hand,” said Sheriff Falcon.
From all of us at the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and on behalf of the entire residency of the parish, we thank Deputy Jimmy Tabor for his service. On Thursday, Sheriff Falcon presented Deputy Tabor a plaque of appreciation.
