SEARCH WARRANT – DRUG – GUN LAW VIOLATIONS
TRENT PETER SIMONEAUX
PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Trent Peter Simoneaux, 31, of 5779 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges arising from an ongoing investigation related to illegal drug trafficking in the Assumption Parish area.
Narcotics agents developed information over an extensive period of time that Trent Peter Simoneaux was actively distributing drugs to the Assumption Parish area. Agents were able to secure probable cause to apply for a search warrant for the residence and property located at the aforementioned address.
On Tuesday, narcotics agents, deputies and detectives converged on the location authorized to search and did locate Trent Peter Simoneaux. The warrant to search was executed resulting in the seizure of marijuana, methamphetamine, assorted drug paraphernalia and a firearm. Trent Peter Simoneaux was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
*Illegal Carrying of Weapons in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Trent Peter Simoneaux remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
