SIMPLE BURGLARY – CLAUDELL COLEMAN
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Claudell Coleman, 46, of 4922 Grand Caillou Road, Houma, LA, on felony burglary charges related to the theft of lumber from a structure off of LA 400.
On August 30, 2022, deputies responded to the 1500 block of LA 400 to investigate a burglary of which a substantial amount of lumber was stolen.
Deputies initiated an investigation and were able to identify four suspects, one of which was Claudell Coleman. Deputies applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Claudell Coleman.
The Thibodaux Police Department arrested Coleman on Tuesday. Coleman was transferred to Assumption Parish and booked into the detention center on Wednesday on charges of:

Claudell Coleman remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing. Coleman is the fourth suspect arrested in this case.
Shanta L. Williams, 25, of 3732 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, Dohriyond Millien, 31, of 3719 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, and Jessica Smith, 36, of 3366 Back Marais Lane, Napoleonville, LA, were all previously arrested on counts of simple burglary and released on bond.
