SIMPLE BURGLARY

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Blaine Joseph Bergeron, 30, of 208 Ledet Street, Thibodaux, LA, in connection with the burglary of a shed on Sophie Street in Labadieville.

On September 7, 2018, deputies were dispatched to a Sophie Street address and made contact with the complainant. The complainant advised that windows had ben busted out of a shed at which time, extension cords, a DVD player, a cross bow and a drill kit had been stolen. A suspect vehicle description was provided and was stopped later that day in Thibodaux. Follow -up investigation resulted in the identification of two suspects. Warrants were applied for Bergeron as well as for Carlton Curvine, 36, of 141 Dipp Lane, Thibodaux, LA.

Curvine was arrested on February 27, 2019 on charges of:

*Simple Burglary
*Criminal Trespass

Blaine Joseph Bergeron was arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center that afternoon on charges of:

*Simple Burglary
*Criminal Trespass

Bergeron was incarcerated with a bond set at $16,000.

Curvine had previously posted bond.
