SIMPLE CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY – JORDAN ANTHONY BENOIT

NAPOLEONVILLE–The Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jordan Anthony Benoit, 32, of 852 Highway 1011, Labadieville, LA, on felony charges arising out of a domestic disturbance.

Deputies were dispatched to the aforementioned address Saturday afternoon in reference to a disturbance / criminal damage to property complaint. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that an ex-boyfriend identified as Jordan Anthony Benoit had caused damages to property at her home.

Deputies conducted an investigation and determined that the accused had caused damages to property the complainant owned. It was further declared that Jordan Anthony Benoit had violated the terms of a protective order.

Jordan Anthony Benoit was arrested late Saturday on charges of:

*Violation of a Protective Order
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property

Jordan Anthony Benoit remains incarcerated with bond set at $75,000.
