SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE, DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Alexandra Marie Stephens, 21, of 117 Randy Street, Pierre Part, LA, on multiple felony drug charges early Thursday after deputies investigated a parked vehicle at a closed business on LA 70 Spur near Plattenville.
A uniformed patrol deputy made contact with an individual now identified as Alexandra Marie Stephens.
The investigating deputy noted a pungent odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the vehicle. After completing an interview of Stephens, the deputy requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle.
During the ensuing search, quantities of suspected marijuana, Adderall and Xanax (Alprazolam), as well assorted drug paraphernalia were seized.
Alexandra Marie Stephens was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Adderall
*Possession of Xanax (Alprazolam)
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Alexander Marie Stephens remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
