TRAFFIC – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
JUDE MICHAEL METREJEAN, ALYCIA NICOLE THOMS

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Jude Michael Metrejean, 33, of 3203 Highway 70 South, Lot E, Pierre Part, LA and Alycia Nicole Thoms, 33, of 11521 Auburn Drive, Baton Rouge, LA, following a traffic stop on LA 70 West, late Wednesday evening.

Deputies observed a vehicle on LA 70 West, commit a traffic violation. Deputies and narcotics agents conducted a stop of the violator vehicle and made contact with the driver, now identified as Jude Michael Metrejean and one passenger, namely Alycia Nicole Thoms.

Agents interviewed Metrejean and Thoms and as a result of that process, the suspect vehicle was searched. During that search, agents seized assorted drug paraphernalia, suboxone, Heroin and meth-amphetamine.

Jude Michael Metrejean was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on charges of:

*Possession of Suboxone
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic
*Driving under Suspension

Jude Michael Metrejean remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

Alycia Nicole Thoms was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on charges of:

*Possession of Heroin
*Possession of Suboxone
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Alycia Nicole Thoms remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
