TRAFFIC INCIDENT – MULTIPLE FELONY WARRANTS
DEROMONTA RONALD FRAZIER

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Deromonta Ronald Frazier, 23, of 192 Bentley Drive, Thibodaux, LA, on multiple felony charges arising from a traffic stop on LA 308 Wednesday evening.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle in the 3200 block of LA 308 near Labadieville with an equipment violation and conducted a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Deromonta Rondal Frazier. The deputy engaged Frazier in an officer / violator interview.

The deputy conducted a warrants check on Frazier and determined that he was wanted in Assumption Parish on multiple felony charges connected to a shooting incident in Bertrandville on September 16, 2023 that left a Bertrandville man injured.

At that time, detectives completed their investigation and secured arrest warrants for Deromonta Ronald Frazier.

Following Wednesday’s traffic stop, Deromonta Ronald Frazier was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Second Degree Battery
*Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property
*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm

Deromonta Ronald Frazier remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
