TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – LEE A. G. RICHARD
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lee A. G. Richard, 44, of 505 North Belle River Road, Pierre Part, LA, on felony drug law violations arising from a traffic stop early Tuesday morning east of Pierre Part.
A uniformed patrol officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Lee. A. G. Richard. The deputy noted Richard to be acting nervously
At some point, the deputy requested permission to search the vehicle at which time was granted by Richard.
A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded quantities of meth-amphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia.
Lee A. G. Richard was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Proper Equipment Required on Vehicles
Lee A. G. Richard was incarcerated and released on a $25,000 bond.
