TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATONS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Drey Paul Bergeron, 26, of 113 Constant Drive, Thibodaux, LA, on felony drug charges following a traffic stop on Thursday afternoon.
Uniformed patrol deputies responded to a complaint of a reckless driver on LA 308 near Napoleonville. Deputies located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. Upon coming into contact with the driver, he was identified as Drey Paul Bergeron.
A computer check revealed that Bergeron was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Upon interviewing Bergeron, deputies requested consent to search which was granted. Drug paraphernalia and suspected meth-amphetamine were seized.
Drey Paul Bergeron was taken into custody and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Bergeron was issued summonses for:
*Driving under Suspension
*No Seat Belt
Drey Paul Bergeron remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
