TRAFFIC STOP, FUGITIVE ARREST – JAVON T. WILLIAMS
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Javon T. Williams, 27, of 1057 Alexander Road, St. Martinville, LA, on a felony fugitive warrant following a traffic stop on LA 70 in Pierre Part on Friday morning.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Javon T. Williams. Upon inquiry, Williams stated he did not possess a valid driver’s license.
During a warrants check, Javon T. Williams came back as wanted by East Baton Rouge Parish on a felony domestic warrant.
Javon T. Williams was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Fugitive Warrant – East Baton Rouge Parish for Domestic Abuse Battery with Child
Endangerment
Javon T. Williams remains incarcerated pending transfer to East Baton Rouge Parish.
