TRAFFIC STOP – FUGITIVE ARREST / I.C.E. ARREST
JASMON ANTHONY WILLIAMS
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jasmon Anthony Williams, 35, of 9145 Ridge Oak Drive, Apartment C, Baton Rouge, LA, on traffic charges as well as multiple fugitive warrants originating in Ascension Parish following a traffic stop near Belle Rose on Sunday night.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Jasmon Anthony Williams. The deputy conducted a driver’s license check and a warrants check. It was determined that Jasmon Anthony Williams was driving under a suspended license. It was further determined that Jasmon Anthony Williams was wanted by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office on multiple fugitive charges.
Jasmon Anthony Williams was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Driving under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Use of Multiple Beam Road Lighting Equipment
*Fugitive Warrant – Ascension Parish on Charges of:
-Simple Robbery
-Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
-Battery of a Dating Partner
Jasmon Anthony Williams remains incarcerated pending transfer to Ascension Parish.
