TRAFFIC STOP – I.C.E. ARRESTS
WADE ANTHONY COLEMAN, STEFAN JARED MILLER
PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Wade Anthony Coleman, 34, of 33650 Bowie Street, White Castle, LA, and Stefan Jared Miller, 25, of 32900 Bowie Street, White Castle, LA, on multiple felony charges arising out of a traffic stop early Friday.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on LA 69 near Grand Bayou and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Wade Anthony Coleman. The deputy conducted and officer / violator interview of Coleman. The deputy then made contact with the passenger, now identified as Stefan Jared Miller. Upon interviewing Miller, the deputy noted a strong odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the vehicle.
The deputy requested the presence of a K-9 unit at the scene. The K-9 conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted positive to the presence of illegal narcotics.
A subsequent search of the suspect vehicle yielded quantities of marijuana, Adderall, Hydrocodone, methamphetamine and assorted drug paraphernalia. A 9mm handgun was also recovered.
Wade Anthony Coleman was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Adderall
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Hydrocodone
*Illegal Carrying of Weapons in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Speeding
*Insurance Required
Wade Anthony Coleman remains incarcerated with bond set at $350,000.
Stefan Jared Miller was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Illegal Carrying of Weapons in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Hydrocodone
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Adderall
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Stefan Jared Miller remains incarcerated with bond set at $350,000.
