TRAFFIC STOP – OUTSTANDING ARREST WARRANTS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Christopher Hosea Walker, 22, of 5460 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA, following a Monday evening traffic stop.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a northbound vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver and then made contact with the passenger, now identified as Christopher Hosea Walker. The deputy inquired with the communications division concerning outstanding warrants and learned that Walker was wanted on felony and misdemeanor charges in Assumption Parish in connection with a prior incident.
Christopher Hosea Walker was arrested and during a post arrest search, was found to be in possession of a dangerous weapon.
Walker was booked into the parish detention center on charges of:
*Flight from an Officer – 3 Counts
*Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm
*Illegal Carrying of a Weapon
Christopher Hosea Walker remains incarcerated with a bond set at $126,500.
