TRAFFIC STOP – WARRANT

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Joseph Hiram Desmond Clark on felony warrants following a traffic stop near LA 308 and LA 1014 on Sunday evening.

A uniformed patrol deputy executed a stop on a vehicle and made contact with the driver now identified as Joseph Hiram Desmond Clark, 29, of 2996 Highway 1, Labadieville, LA.

Upon conducting a warrant check through the national data base, the deputy learned of an outstanding warrant for Clark in Assumption Parish related to an August 16, 2020 domestic incident.

In that matter, deputies charged Clark with the crime after he allegedly destroyed a cell phone valued at $1200 during a domestic incident.

Joseph Hiram Desmond Clark was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:

*Criminal Damage to Property (Felony)

Clark was released on a $200.00 bond.
