UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A MOVEABLE – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Katlyn Marie Landry, 25, Gary Lee Perkins, II, both of Creole Street, Belle Rose, La., and Gary M. Cox, Sr., 22, of 1225 Highway 75, Sunshine, La., on felony criminal charges following an investigation on Friday.
Deputies responded to a complaint in which the victim stated that he loaned his pick-up truck to Katlyn Landry a week ago for a 20-minute venture and she never returned.
Later Friday, deputies located the truck at an LA 1 address near Belle Rose. All three suspects were located in the home nearby.
During the investigative process a quantity of heroin and drug paraphernalia was recovered and attributed to these three suspects.
As a result of the investigation, Katlyn Marie Landry, Gary M. Cox, Sr. and Gary Lee Perkins, II, were arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center as follows:
*Katlyn Marie Landry
-Possession of Heroin
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Third Offense)
-Unauthorized Use of a Moveable
*Gary M. Cox, Sr.
-Possession of Heroin
*Gary Lee Perkins, II
-Possession of Heroin
All three suspects remain incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
