WARRANT – AGGRAVATED FLIGHT
QUENTIN QUENDELL JOSEPH
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Quentin Quendell Joseph, 37, of 313 Pelican Street, Labadieville, LA, on felony charges arising from a traffic incident on August 28, 2024, near Washington and Congress Street in the Village of Napoleonville.
On the aforementioned date, an I.C.E. assigned deputy observed a group of individuals loitering in the streets and committing related violations. As the deputy approached, he observed two individuals, one of which was Quentin Quendell Joseph walking away and towards a vehicle. Both Joseph and the second subject entered the vehicle and Quentin Quendell Joseph drove off at a high rate of speed and in a reckless manner.
The deputy pursued the suspect vehicle southbound on LA 1 at speeds exceeding 95 mph. At some point, the suspect vehicle crosses over to LA 308 and headed south. The Communications Division contacted Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Thibodaux Police Department for assistance in stopping the suspect vehicle.
A short time later, Thibodaux City Police were able to stop the vehicle and did arrest Quentin Quendell Joseph. He was booked into the Lafourche Parish Jail pending transfer to Assumption Parish Detention Center.
Quentin Quendell Joseph was transferred to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on August 31, 2024, and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Modified Exhaust System
*Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
*Driver Must be Licensed
Quentin Quendell Joseph remains incarcerated with bond set at $50,000.
