WARRANT – TRAFFIC – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – I.C.E. ARREST – KENTRELL LANG
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kentrell Lang, 40, of 212 Telegraph Street, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges related to a pair of incidents.
On July 4, 2021, an I.C.E. assigned deputy attempted to stop a vehicle relative to a traffic violation. The suspect, who is now identified as Kentrell Lang, fled from deputies. As a result, deputies obtained arrest warrants for Lang.
On Thursday evening, deputies assigned to the I.C.E. unit spotted Lang and attempted to stop him. Lang fled and then entered a local business. Deputies confronted Lang and he resisted attempts to take him into custody. At some point, Lang was arrested and booked into the Parish Detention Facility on charges of:
As a result of the July 4, 2021 incident:
– Obstruction of Justice
– Resisting an Officer
– No Driver’s License
– Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic
As a result of Thursday night’s arrest:
– Possession of Meth Amphetamine
– Taking Contraband to/from a Penal Institution
– Resisting an Officer (3 counts)
Kentrell Lang remains incarcerated with bond set at $41,000.
