JOSH JERMAIN HENRY I.C.E. ARREST
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Josh Jermain Henry, 42, of 131A Marshall Lane, Napoleonville, LA, on multiple felony charges arising from an incident on March 2, 2023. On the aforementioned date, an I.C.E. assigned deputy observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Josh Jermain Henry and engaged the suspect into an officer/violator interview. The deputy noticed a strong odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The deputy then proceeded to interview two passengers. At some point, suspect Henry fled on foot. At the conclusion of all interviews, a search was conducted of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of suspected marijuana, cocaine, and assorted paraphernalia. Warrants were issued for the arrest of Josh Jermain Henry.
Josh Jermain Henry was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Tuesday on charges of:
• Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
• Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Resisting an Officer
• No Seat Belt
• Security (Insurance) Required
• Violation of Registration Provisions
Josh Jermain Henry remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
