DISTURBANCE COMPLAINT – DEMOND J. LEWIS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Demond J. Lewis, 35, of 147 Gold St., Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges arising from a disturbance complaint at the aforementioned address on Thursday afternoon.
Deputies responded to the complaint and made contact with the complainant who advised that a relative living in her home was causing a disturbance and wanted that individual removed.
Deputies interviewed the subject in question and noted that he appeared agitated.
At some point during the investigation, the suspect now identified as Demond J. Lewis communicated a threat to the complainant advising that if she removed his possessions, he would burn the house down.
Demond J. Lewis was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
- False Communication of a Planned Arson
Demond J. Lewis remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
