OPERATION, “TAKE A RIDE”

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Corey Joseph Breaux, 44, of 111 Simone Street, Pierre Part, La., on felony drug distribution charges related to operation, “Take a Ride”.

As part of an ongoing parish wide illegal narcotics investigation, agents identified Corey Joseph Breaux as being involved in illegal drug trafficking in Assumption Parish.

During the investigation process, agents established probable cause to seek arrest warrants for Corey Joseph Breaux.

On Wednesday, Corey Joseph Breaux was arrested in Ascension Parish on felony warrants from Assumption Parish.

Breaux was transferred to Assumption Parish early Thursday and booked into the detention center on charges of:

*Distribution of Cocaine
*Distribution of Marijuana

Corey Joseph Breaux remains incarcerated with a bond set at $45,000.
