DAKOTA AUBREY DAIGLE

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dakota Aubrey Daigle, 28, of 217 Second Street, Morgan City, LA 70380 on felony charges arising out of a theft which occurred on or about April 19, 2021 in the Bayou L’Ourse community.

On May 7, 2021, detectives received communication from the Morgan City Police Department regarding information relative to this investigation.

Detectives from Assumption Parish met with the suspect, Dakota Aubrey Daigle at the Morgan City Police Department and interviewed him.

During the interview process, detectives secured sufficient probable cause to obtain an arrest warrant for Daigle. He was then transported to Assumption Parish and booked into the detention facility on charges of:

*Simple Burglary

The Morgan City Police Department and the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted in this investigation.

Dakota Aubrey Daigle remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

Detectives said that other arrests are likely in this matter.
