ARREST WARRANT, MULTIPLE FELONY CHARGES
KEVIN ROSS, JR., KENDHASIA DONAE WINFIELD and JUVENILE

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Kendhasia Donae Winfield, 21, of 101 Felton Lane, Paincourtville, LA and a juvenile in connection with an ongoing investigation near Paincourtville.

On Monday afternoon, deputies, detectives and narcotics agents converged on the home at 101 Felton Lane, Paincourtville, LA with the purpose of executing arrest warrants.

Upon arrival at 101 Felton Lane, law enforcement officers detained multiple subjects. During protective pat down searches, deputies recovered a quantity of Oxycodone pills.

During the process of acquiring a search warrant, an individual identified as Kevin Ross, Jr. left the scene resulting in warrants being issued for his arrest.

During the execution of that search warrant, a large sum of U.S. currency was seized along with marijuana, Oxycodone and firearms.

Additionally, deputies seized a Taurus handgun from the waistband of the juvenile.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Kendhasia Donae Winfield was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
*Possession of Oxycodone
*Illegal Carrying of Weapons in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
*Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Kendhasia Donae Winfield remains incarcerated with bond set at $210,000.

Narcotics agents have obtained arrest warrants charging Kevin Ross, Jr. with:

*Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile
*Illegal Carrying of Weapons in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
*Possession of Oxycodone
*Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycodone
*Transactions Involving Proceeds from Controlled Dangerous Substance Activity
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Simple Escape

Kevin Ross, Jr. is wanted by Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office on charges of:

*Illegal Use of Weapons
*Armed Robbery
*Armed Robbery with a Firearm
*Second Degree Kidnapping
*Criminal Street Gang and Patterns of Criminal Street Gang Activity

The juvenile was charged by verified complaint with Illegal Use of a Firearm and released to the custody of a parent.
