DISTURBANCE – STABBING – JAMON J. DAVIS
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jamon J. Davis, 18, of 108 Jerome Court, Napoleonville, LA, on felony attempted murder charges following a disturbance call on Friday evening.
On Friday evening, deputies responded to a complaint at Jerome Court related to a disturbance / stabbing. Upon arrival deputies identified the suspect who was still on scene as Jamon J. Davis, Davis and immediately detained him.
Deputies and detectives conducted the follow-up investigation and determined that Jamon J. Davis had a verbal confrontation with an individual known to him. Jamon J. Davis retrieved a knife from nearby and confronted the victim and stabbed him multiple times. The victim was transported to a medical facility and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Jamon J. Davis was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Attempted Second Degree Murder
Jamon J. Davis remains incarcerated and ordered held without bond.
