DOMESTIC ABUSE BATTERY INVOLVING STRANGULATION – BEARDES HERRON
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Beardes Herron, 36, of 209 Cardinal Street, Labadieville, La, on felony domestic related charges arising out of an incident which occurred on January 22, 2024 at the aforementioned address.
On the date in question, deputies were dispatched to the 2700 block of LA 308 in reference to a domestic incident. Deputies made contact with the victim / complainant who advised that she and her domestic partner had a disagreement over personal issues and at some point, he became irate and physically attacked her. The suspect is now identified as Beardes Herron.
Investigating deputies noted injuries to the victim were apparent and consistent with the victim’s statements of fact.
The suspect was not present during the deputies’ investigation.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Beardes Herron.
The accused, Beardes Herron was arrested on Monday morning and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery with Strangulation
Beardes Herron was incarcerated and later released on a $10,000 bond.
