DOMESTIC ABUSE – DRUG LAW VIOLATION
TRAVIS DARNELL LANG
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Travis Darnell Lang, 34, of 212 Telegraph Street, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic incident at a Martin Luther King Street address in Napoleonville on Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a location in reference to a domestic disturbance. A uniformed patrol deputy arrived to interview the complainant.
At the same time, the suspect, now identified as Travis Darnell Lang, was observed running out of the residence by a narcotics agent who happened to be in the area. That officer observed Travis Darnell Lang toss an item under a building.
Travis Darnell Lang was quickly apprehended and deputies recovered a substantial quantity of controlled dangerous substances. Lang was arrested.
Meanwhile, the deputy investigating the domestic abuse incident observed injuries to the victim consistent with domestic abuse.
Travis Darnell Lang was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine
*Obstruction of Justice
*Resisting an Officer
Bond on Travis Darnell Lang was set at $65,000.
