DOMESTIC ABUSE, HOME INVASION – TREY MICHAEL DUET
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Trey Michael Duet, 31, of 138, Primrose Drive, Thibodaux, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic incident which occurred on March 16, 2024 at a residence in the 400 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in Napoleonville.
On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to the location in question in reference to a domestic disturbance.
Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that her domestic partner, now identified as Trey Michael Duet, had come to her home and became angry over matters involving both of them.
At some point, the victim asked Duet to leave the residence. Duet did so, but minutes later made forced entry back into the home. Duet then became physical and committed a battery upon the victim. Duet then left the residence.
Investigating deputies secured evidence of a forced entry into the home as well as evidence that a battery had been committed all in the presence of minor children.
Deputies secured felony arrest warrants for Duet.
On Monday afternoon, Trey Michael Duet turned himself in at the Assumption Parish Detention Center at which time he was booked on charges of:
*Home Invasion
*Domestic Abuse Battery Involving Strangulation with Child Endangerment
Trey Michael Duet remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
