FELONY SEX CRIMES UPON A JUVENILE – KEIMON TYRESE CUNEO
NAPOLEONVILLLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Keimon Tyrese Cuneo, 21, of 118 A Solar Trailer Court, Thibodaux, LA, on multiple felony sex crimes upon a juvenile prompting law enforcement involvement in January of 2024.
On or about January 10, 2024, detectives received a report of a sexual encounter between a juvenile and an adult which led to related pornography material being posted on social media.
Detectives initiated an investigation and interviewed the alleged victim who indicated that she had a sexual encounter with an adult male sometime in 2023. Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Keimon T. Cuneo. Detectives were able to determine that the suspect and the victim corresponded through social media for months prior to the sexual encounter. Detectives were able to recover corroborating evidence of the alleged crime.
At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives applied for and were granted arrest warrants for the arrest of Keimon Tyrese Cuneo charging him with multiple sex crimes involving a juvenile.
On February 16, 2024, Keimon Tyrese Cuneo was arrested by the Lafourche Sheriff’s Office on local charges. On March 18, 2024, Keimon Tyrese Cuneo was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and booked into the detention center on charges of:
*Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile
*Computer Aided Solicitation for Sexual Purposes
*Pornography Involving Juveniles
Keimon Tyrese Cuneo remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
