DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE
JAMAL JOVON FAIR

BERTRANDVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jamal Jovon Fair, 26, of 144 Jacobs Street, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges related to a domestic incident in Bertrandville on Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to an address on Skidmore Street near Bertrandville in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant who indicated that she had been involved in an altercation with Jamal Jovon Fair, a domestic partner of hers. At some point, Fair became physical towards the victim.

Upon completion of the investigation, deputies requested warrants charging Jamal Jovon Fair in connection with the incident.

Jamal Jovon Fair was located nearby and placed under arrest. He was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery Involving Strangulation

Jamal Jovon Fair remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
