DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE – BRANDON LAMARK BANKS

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Brandon Lamark Banks, 34, of 2969 Highway 1, Apartment H, Labadieville, LA, on felony charges arising from a Sunday afternoon domestic disturbance in Labadieville.

Deputies responded to a domestic complaint at the aforementioned address and made contact with the complaint. The victim advised that she and her domestic partner now identified as Brandon Lamark Banks got into an argument which became physical. The deputy noted significant evidence present indicating injury to the victim which was consistent with domestic abuse.

Brandon Lamark Banks was located a short distance away. He was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of domestic abuse battery, including strangulation.

Brandon Lamark Banks remains incarcerated and pending a bond hearing.
