DRUG – GUN LAW VIOLATIONS – TROYVOR LEON TILLMAN, ALEXUS KIA BRANCH
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Troyvor Leon Tillman, 25, of 101 Park Avenue, Thibodaux, LA, and the citing of Alexus Kia Branch, 26, of 125B Carlos Street, Houma, LA, on charges of arising from a Sunday evening traffic stop in Bayou L’Ourse, LA.
A uniformed patrol officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation in the area of LA 662 and Aristle Road.
The deputy initiated a stop of the vehicle and made contact with the driver, now identified as Troyvor Leon Tillman. The deputy determined that Tillman was driving under a suspended driver’s license. Further, the deputy noted a pungent odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the vehicle.
During the investigation, a quantity of suspected marijuana was seized which was attributed to Alexus Kia Branch.
Deputies also recovered a large caliber, high-capacity rifle. It was determined that Troyvor Leon Tillman was a prior convicted felony drug offender. Troyvor Leon Tillman was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on charges of:
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Illegal Window Tint
Troyvor Leon Tillmans remains incarcerated with bond set at $25,000.
Alexus Kia Branch was issued a misdemeanor summons for Possession of Marijuana and released.
