DRUG LAW VIOLATION – DISTRIBUTION

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Patrick A Aucoin, 61, of 3470 Lake Palourde Road Apt. 1, Amelia, La, on felony drug distribution charges stemming from an ongoing parish wide illegal narcotics investigation.

During this investigation, agents were able to identify Patrick A. Aucoin of trafficking illegal narcotics in the Assumption Parish area.

Agents were able to secure sufficient probable cause to secure arrest warrants for Patrick A. Aucoin.

On Wednesday night, Patrick A. Aucoin was arrested in Amelia with the assistance of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Aucoin will be booked as a fugitive in St. Mary Parish from Assumption Parish. Aucoin will then be transported back to Assumption Parish and booked into the detention center on charges of:

*Distribution of Marijuana

Patrick A. Aucoin remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
