DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – DISTRIBUTION

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ciara Marie Leonard, 33, 125 Mam and Pap Drive, Pierre Part, La, on felony drug distribution charges connected to an ongoing parish wide investigation into illegal drug activity.

Over a period of time, narcotics agents developed information indicating that Ciara M. Leonard was trafficking illegal narcotics.

As a result of that investigation, agents obtained warrants for Leonard’s arrest.

Ciara Marie Leonard was arrested on Thursday evening and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Distribution of Clonazepam (3 Counts)
*Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles (3 Counts)
*Unlawful Sale, Purchase or Possession of Tobacco

Ciara Marie Leonard was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
