FAILURE TO APPEAR – AGGRAVATED FLIGHT
JEREMY ANDRE HARRY
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jeremy Andre Harry, 24, of 7354 Freetown Street, St James, LA, on a warrant charging him with Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish.
Jeremy Andre Harry was previously arrested in Assumption Parish on felony charges of Aggravated Flight from an Officer. As a result of that arrest, Harry was ordered to appear in court on August 30, 2023 and failed to do so. As a result, a warrant was issued by the court for his arrest on September 1, 2023.
Patrol deputies observed a vehicle early Saturday morning at a local retail establishment. The deputies noted an equipment violation on the vehicle as it pulled off. The deputies attempted a traffic stop, but the suspect vehicle continued north on LA 308 into Paincourtville at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle stopped in the area of Pugh Street in Paincourtville. The deputies identified Jeremy Andre Harry as the driver and further determined that a warrant for his arrest existed in Assumption Parish.
Jeremy Andre Harry was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on Charges of Aggravated Flight from
an Officer
*Flight from an Officer
*License Plate Light Required
Jeremy Andre Harry remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
