FAILURE TO APPEAR, DISTRIBUTION OF MARIJUANA
HERMAN KNOCKUM, IV

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Herman Knockum, IV, 26, of 148 Belle Point Lane, Napoleonville, LA, on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on felony drug distribution charges.

Herman Knockum, IV, was previously arrested in Assumption Parish on charges of distribution of marijuana and as a result of that arrest was ordered to appear in court on September 19, 2022. Knockum failed to appear as ordered resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest on September 21, 2022. Herman Knockum, IV fled the jurisdiction and remained at large until his arrest on March 02, 2024 at which time he was arrested by the Irving Texas Police Department.

Herman Knockum, IV was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on March 16, 2024.

Herman Knockum, IV was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on September 19, 2022 on a count of:
– Distribution of Marijuana

Herman Knockum, IV remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
