TRAFFIC STOP – FUGITIVE WARRANT – DALYN J. BELL
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dalyn J. Bell,18, of 1505 Southport Boulevard, New Iberia, LA, on felony fugitive warrants originating from Franklin, LA in St. Mary Parish.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle on U.S. 90 near Amelia commit a traffic violation and executed a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Dalyn J. Bell. The deputy engaged Bell into an officer / violator interview. During that process, the deputy conducted a warrants check on Bell. It was determined that Dalyn J. Bell was wanted on multiple fugitive warrants out of St. Mary Parish.
Dalyn J. Bell was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on fugitive warrant charges for:
*Armed Robbery
*Home Invasion
*Aggravated Assault
Dalyn J. Bell remains incarcerated pending a transfer to the St. Mary Parish Jail.
