FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY – TYREK HENRY JOHNSON

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tyrek Henry Johnson, 23, of 509 West 6th Street. Donaldsonville, LA, on a warrant for Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish.

Tyrek Henry Johnson was arrested on March 17, 2022 on charges of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances. As a result of that arrest, Johnson was ordered to appear in court on October 31, 2022 and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for Johnson’s arrest on November 14, 2022.

The St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Johnson on December 21, 2022 and he was transferred to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office today. He was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a warrant for:

*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on Charges of:

– Illegal Carrying of Weapons in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous
Substances and Possession of Marijuana

Tyrek Henry Johnson remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
