FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY GUN LAW VIOLATION
TRAYON I. BOATNER – I.C.E. ARREST
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Trayon I. Boatner, 29, of 3021 Highway 1, Labadieville, LA, on warrants charging him with Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish.
Trayon I. Boatner was previously arrested on felony charges in Assumption Parish. As a result of that arrest, Boatner was ordered to appear in court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for Trayon I. Boatner.
On Friday, a uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed Trayon I. Boatner standing in the yard of a Violet Street residence. As the deputy approached, Boatner ran but was quickly apprehended.
Deputies recovered a carry bag Boatner had in his possession. The bag contained a quantity of the drug Suboxone.
Trayon I. Boatner was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on Charges of:
-Public Intimidation, Use of Violence, Threats to Influence
-Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Possession of Suboxone
*Resisting an Officer
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Trayon I. Boatner remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
